Opening Act for the 2008 DC Blues Festival!
The Country Bunker Funky Blues Band is a newly formed show band featuring an all-star cast of veteran musicians including Charles Solomon (Bass), Art McKinney (Drums), Rob Reboso (Guitar), John Vengrouskie (Guitar), Carl Cimino (Keyboards), Neal Herron (Harp), and up and coming Vocalist Bobby Joe Owens. The TCB Funky Blues Band plays a high-energy combination of Traditional, Contemporary, and Original Blues and Roots Music. We blow off steam on occasion by playing some ELVIS and Funky Dance Music, dressing up in costumes, and acting all crazy to the amazement of our fans. Most of all, we love having fun while performing for family, friends, and anyone else who will listen.

Join us this Saturday for the 25th International Blues Challenge Battle of the Bands Competition presented by the DC Blues Society. The show starts at 7 PM at Surf Club Live and features some of the best local blues bands around. Admission is $10 for DC Blues Society members, $12 for non-members, and $15 at the door. We hope to see you all there!
